About the Jukebox Hospital!

The Jukebox Hospital is run by Tim Dudley and Paul Johnson.

Tim has been a Jukebox enthusiast and collector for over 30 years and has owned many of the leading and most collectable machines made by Wurlitzer, Seeburg, Rock Ola and AMI, plus some rare and strange machines from Williams (Music Mite), Bergmann, United Music, Tonomat and Mills.

Tim is an engineer and specialises in the electro-mechanics of Jukeboxes covering mechanisms, selectors, credit systems and amplifiers. Over the years he has built up extensive experience and now also supports a number of the main UK dealers for those "difficult and elusive problems" that can affect some machines. He is an expert on valve sound systems and the Tormat selector systems as used in Seeburg machines.

Paul is the youngest member of the team and is learning the art of electro-mechanical repair and restoration. He has already proved himself to be a wizard on Rock Ola selector drums, the restoration of which is highly specialised and requires extreme patience and skill.

So, if you have a jukebox that needs some treatment then bring it to the Jukebox Hospital.

If you are looking for a particular machine, this can sourced through our extensive contacts in the United States and Europe and we can then restore it to your precise specification - contact us for more details of this service.
